Max?s Science Cycle Ride
Join Science Oxford, Broken Spoke and cycling scientist Max Glaskin for a two-wheeled touring exploration of all things bicycle! All you need is your brain and a bike as Max takes you along the pathways of Oxford and reveals some surprising facts about the science of cycling. Where does your energy go? Why is cycling so efficient? What’s so great about gravity?
Take part in two hours of demonstrations, experiments and explanations along an easy 5-mile route. Route starts and ends in the courtyard of The Story Museum, outside the Broken Spoke workshop.

14.30 – 16.30
Suitable for adults, teenagers and children 11+. 11-12 year olds must be accompanied by an older ticket holder, 13-18 year olds must provide a note from a parent/guardian.
