Green your home

This talk will outline a new scheme to help home-owners insulate their homes and adopt green energy, reducing their fuel bills and carbon footprint. Cosy Homes Oxfordshire is a joint initiative by the Low Carbon Hub, the National Energy Foundation and Retrofit Works.

It offers:
  1. A bespoke survey of your home so that you can prioritise the best ways of insulating it and moving to renewable energy, thus saving on bills and carbon emissions
  2. A list of vetted, trained builders whom you can approach for estimates
  3. Independent monitoring of the quality of work during progress and once it has been completed.

Whether you’re planning major works on your house or want advice on simple insulation measures, this scheme can help you plan and see the project through to completion. Further info: cosyhomesoxfordshire.org or 0300 303 1269

The talk is a part of Rose Hill Gets Green (11 am – 4 pm at the same venue), so if you have kids over five, they’ll be able to enjoy child-centred activities while you’re at the talk. There will be many stalls related to all things green too.
