BBOWT Orchid Extravaganza
Join Peter Creed on an orchid walk at Wendlebury Meads to see frog orchid, heath-spotted, common spotted-orchids and other wild flowers in these species-rich meadows.
8 miles north of Oxford and half a mile from Charlton-on-Otmoor. From Islip, take road sign posted to Charlton-on-Otmoor. After 2 miles, carry on keeping to the left road (do not take road sign posted Oddington). After a further mile and half, turn right towards Charlton-on-Otmoor and park on roadside at this junction. The meadows are half a mile walk from this junction.
Unmade gravel road, styles and foothpaths over arable land. Can be damp in wet weather.
