West Oxford Beer Festival
The West Oxford Beer Festival (or WOBFest, as we like to call it) is a celebration of local beers, sourced from breweries that are a maximum of thirty miles of Oxford. Most are much closer, including some almost on our own doorstep! We will have around two dozen ales, across a range of styles, and we try to have something for everyone.
This year WOBFest forms part of ”The Great Get Together”, a series of events held nationwide aimed at bringing communities together. This is inspired by the Jo Cox foundation, celebrating her ethos: “we have more in common than that which divides us”.
In addition to local beer, we also have food from the Tumbling Bay Cafe, music from local bands and a range of other drinks for the non-beer-drinkers.
Tickets for the West Oxford Beer Festival cost five pounds, and gain you entry, plus a commemorative pint glass, which will be yours to keep. Drinks and food are then “pay-as-you-go”. Given the nature of our event, entry is restricted to over-18s only.
We may have a small number of tickets on the door, but we usually sell out, so strongly recommend you get your tickets in advance, from:
Although an independent event, WOBFest donates proceeds to local causes.
