Rose Hill Cycling Festival

Rose Hill Bike Day will be an opportunity for cycle-users to share and improve their cycling skills and for non-cyclists to try some of the delights of cycling. We are planning:

  • a cycle repair workshop from Broken Spoke, using the newly installed cycle repair kit outside Rose Hill Community Centre
  • the grand opening of the Rose Hill cycle repair kit
  • a free cycling adventure course for children, run by Go Ride
  • a free smoothie bike on which people can power their own smoothie drinks
  • free trials of electric bikes, child seats and child buggies
  • talks on different aspects of cycling, including touring and using map/apps to help plan safe cycle routes within Oxford and beyond
  • stalls to demonstrate and sell cycling equipment
  • an escorted cycle ride to a hydro scheme on the Thames
  • delicious Asian food

Details will be confirmed nearer the date.
