In 2006, a World Wildlife Fund study named Cuba as the only country, with sustainable development that is both a high quality of life (as measured by the UN Human Development Index) and a relatively small ecological footprint. As a contribution to Low Carbon Week in Oxford the evening will start with a short talk and video about Cuba & Sustainable Development in the café, with speakers from Low Carbon Week and Cuba Solidarity Campaign.
