This Oxford Green Week event has already happened. We look forward to seeing you in Oxford Green Week 2018.

Maker Club – Solar Circuits

10AM – 12PM Over 12s Unaccompanied
2PM – 4PM Ages 9-12 / accompanied

Solar energy can be used to power everything from a phone to a house to a power station. And unlike smelly, polluting fossil fuels, the Sun’s power doesn’t produce waste products and is completely renewable. Using only a few basic circuit components and a bit of soldering, your kids can lower their carbon footprint by making their very own solar chargers to charge a mobile phone or tablet at this hands-on workshop. We’ll keep our fingers-crossed that the Sun comes out to join us!

This event is part of the Oxfordshire Science Festival and Oxford Green Week
