* Please note this event has been very popular and is now fully booked. Please check out the other Green Behind the Scenes events taking place during the festival *
Have you ever wondered how the John Radcliffe Hospital works or want to know more about their Hospital Energy Project? This unique “Green Behind The Scenes” tour is a one-off opportunity to hear about the complexity of the problems and innovation of the engineering recently installed in the John Radcliffe Hospital’s new Energy Centre.
The Trust and Vital Energi’s engineers will escort ten people behind the scenes to see the extensive work that has been done recently to upgrade the JR’s heat and power generation and explain how this project will significantly reduce the Trust’s carbon footprint.
For safety reasons, only ten people can be accommodated on this tour, so please register now to reserve your place: email@example.com. The tour will take about 2 hours. It will include a short presentation and a walk around the Energy Centre and a Generator Room. There will be some stairs and confined spaces. Joining instructions will be issued to successful applicants closer to the event. There is no admission fee.
This event has been organised specifically for Oxford City Council’s 2017 Oxford Green Week.
