Fair Trade Recycled Showcase

Fairtrade at St Michaels are proud to showcase an inspiring collection of objects made from recycled products within our shop. Saris, safety pins and spark plugs are just a few materials that have been reworked into something ‘new’. Made using traditional techniques, artisans from around the world have created a range of functional and decorative home wear. These include:

–          Beautiful aluminium fruit bowls made from cars and coke cans from India.

–          Rustic wine glasses made from glass collected from rubbish dumps in Bolivia.

–          Leather bound journals filled with pages made from recycled cotton rags, waste from the Indian textiles industry.

Venue: The Basement, St Michael at the North Gate, Cornmarket Street, Oxford

Opening Times: Mon – Sat, 10 – 5.

Display runs throughout June
