Earth’s daughters – a summer’s day for all women and girls
An intergenerational day for women of all ages. We are all Earth’s Daughters. This is a day to to relax, to nurture, to explore, to talk about things that matter to us with other women of our own generation and of other generations. We have a great programme of facilitators who will offer storytelling, 5 rhythms dance, yoga, sound work, discussion group, plant crafts, fire skills, cooking together, storytelling, making hand-creams from plants. Come and join in with the activities that appeal – or just spend time resting and moving in Nature and enjoying the summer come rain or shine. (we have lovely indoor spaces too!) download Flyer here
Here is a little inspiration from the poet Mary Oliver – an extract from ‘A Summer’s Day’
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,
which is what I have been doing all day.
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn’t everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?
