BBOWT Young Birdwatchers Course

Song Thrush

A beginners birdwatchers course for children aged 9-12 (Years 5, 6 and 7). Learn basic identification and field craft skills and practice using binoculars in the field.

This course for 9-12 year olds is the perfect opportunity to learn some of the tricks to identifying birds and get some practice using binoculars. It’s ideal for those who are interested in birds but need a bit of help getting started or improving their identification skills.

The course will start at the Warriner School Farm, Bloxham, with the afternoon spent in the field putting new-found skills into practice.

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) is one of 47 Wildlife Trusts working across the UK to achieve the shared aim of securing a better future for wildlife.
