A Nature Sensory Experience Of Cowley Marsh.
Meet Stuart ‘The Wildman’ Mabbutt at the very bottom of Barracks Lane – off Hollow Way in Cowley, for a 7pm prompt start.
Just bring suitable clothing/footwear and refreshments for the time of year.
Suitable for adults and older children. Ground uneven and wheelchair access not available. Not a lot of walking involved during this exploration.
We will explore the Marsh through our main senses. We will explore what sound looks like through soundwaves, and try and embed at least one new birdsong in each attendees mind. You will explore the ground flora through your senses too, to learn some basic identification techniques and even build a seasonal mosaic out of the ground flora. We will finally experience the season through our senses of smell, touch and hearing.
